Earth Mother gives life,

blue eyes shine,

with the white skies through the vines,

teardrops fall from this place of light

tears for the Earth Mother (Papatuanuku),

she's one of our kind,

and we're one of hers

it's told to us by the birds,

and the songs of the rivers, 

the mountains, 

the sea

the West may not,

but the Earth Mother sees me
